Last Night

Last night Joyce and I went to Taps brewery in Brea. We hung out and couple of cream ales, butternut squash raviolis and their break with garlic dipping sauce. Previous to that, I tried to make it to CPC but arrived late. We went to Mandoorang and had cold noodles and dumplings. Hung out with everyone at I Love Coffe then went to the It's a Grind new her house so she can read up on her case at work, then to borders, then to my place. Man, it was a busy day...

woke up this morning as if i had something to do, but it's not a work day, it's the weekend, just another day where i have to struggle to fill it with something i actually have fun doing. only thing that came to mind at 9 am was to grab some breakfast in k-town. i took an old magazine i picked up the other day at a train model store in burbank hoping that it being old will interest me. i flipped through the pages struggling to find the articles and pictures appealing but it was no use. i found the subject matter boring and the black and white photos hollow. in the end it was just a tattered, yellowed bound pile of shit. i found myself left to my constant uneasiness and restlessness.

ok, i think me'z getting the second wind. i'm feeling better about my life and things in general. i've quit smoking, (gained some weight cause of it of course, but a good trade off), getting more focused at work and spending my time wisely. i've moved into my new space at work and i dig it. i get a window with a view of a really really densely leafed tree... i see shapes of kinds tarting in and out of view, between the cracks and gaps of branches. sometime i think i see a monkey jumping from one limb to the next only to find out it's a co-worker walking by. the best part is the spacious deskspace and oh the shelves behind me.
